Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for STI positions, candidates must:
- Reside in the district where they are applying.
- Hold a master’s degree along with a professional teaching qualification.
Stipend Details
Interns will receive a monthly stipend based on their teaching level:
- Primary Schools: Rs 38,000
- Middle Schools: Rs 40,000
- High/Higher Secondary Schools: Rs 45,000
Application and Selection Process
- Appointments require approval from deputy DEOs, AEOs, school heads, and school councils.
- Merit lists will be displayed at deputy DEOs’ offices, posted online, and updated on school notice boards.
- Candidates can apply through a designated online portal within their district.
Note: These are temporary positions; interns are not eligible for transfers or permanent roles. Successful interns will receive a completion certificate from the education department.
